The Monmouth College track teams set a pair of school records and also recorded the nation's top mark in their season-opening meet as the women tied for first and the men were second at Saturday's Sol Butler Classic hosted by the University of Dubuque.

The Monmouth College men's and women's track teams will enter the season ranked among the best in the nation according to the preseason rankings released today by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Monmouth College track and field coach Roger Haynes isn't satisfied with past successes and he's hoping his team isn't, either.
