Stellar performances at last weekend's Lee Calhoun Memorial has earned Monmouth College's James Wilson (Chicago, Ill./Brother Rice) and DeAndre Smith (Carbondale, Ill./Carbondale) the Midwest Conference Performer of the Week award in men's track.
Seven lifetime-bests were turned in by the Monmouth College men's and women's track teams en route to a second place women's finish and a fourth place men's finish at last weekend's Lee Calhoun Memorial at WIU.
The Monmouth College women's track team remained the Midwest Conference's only squad women or men to be ranked in the nation's top 20 by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
